System Requirements

Here you will find the basic system requirements for running the OpenSS7 SS7, SIGTRAN and INET stacks. Remember that current releases are STREAMS releases and rely on the LiS STREAMS package available under LGPL from GCOM.

Downloads

The downloads page. All public releases of software are here. You might want to bookmark the downloads page.

Mailing Lists

OpenSS7 mailing lists. There are a number of lists to choose from. This page has a general description of each mailing list and instructions for subscription. We now use a mailman mailing list instead of majordomo.

Browse Source

This is the starting point for browsing the OpenSS7 public release source code. It provides a map into to the code to help navigate.

CVS Archive

This is the entry point to the CVS Archive. The archive can be browsed with your web browser using the cvsweb access. Access to the CVS archive is restricted to subscribers and sponsors of the OpenSS7 project.

Bug Reports

This is a GNATS system for bug reports. We have so few bug reports that we use GNATS instead of Bugzilla. Subscribers and sponsors can enter priority bug reports. However, nonymous bug reporting is still possible.

Library

The OpenSS7 library is a listing of publications that are provided by OpenSS7 on the website.

Vendor Links

These are vendor links, primarily to card vendors that offer hardware that is suitable for use with SS7 and the OpenSS7 stack.
